Nathan Kassas
_______________________________ At NLG, Nathan Kassas is the lead dance performer, lead trainer, lead choreographer and male lead vocalist. He provides his services to perform and train in dance and song at NLG totally free of charge. Nathan has danced with some of the world's best dancers and choreographers. He has attended many master and advanced dance workshops for all styles. While in LA he trained exclusively with and danced with top L.A. & New York choreographers whose credits include dancing/ choreographing, top music videos and world tours for Missy Elliott, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Pink, Celine Dion, Usher, Mary J. Bilge, Ciara, So You Think You Can Dance (US), The X Factor, America’s Best Dance Crew, American Idol, Nike, and the list goes on. These choreographers include:

2008 Sydney training includes with Sydney Dance Company, Juliette Verne (Urban Dance Centre) and
Brent Street. Nathan at age 14, received the Australian Young Citizen of the Year Award 2005 for Parramatta for his contribution to the community and the performing arts. He won the award again in 2006. Nathan has been trained by top international hip-hop artists including Juliette Verne (J-Foxx – dancer/ choreographer for Australian Idol Guy Sebastian), Kevin Mahr (dancer/ choreographer Missy Elliott, Usher & appeared in ‘You Got Served’) and Teresa Espinosa (Janet Jackson’s ‘Velvet Rope’ tour dancer/choreographer; dancer for Missy Elliott, Usher). Nathan trains and dances at Sydney Dance Company (SDC) and Urban Dance Centre (run by Juliette Verne) and regularly attends advanced workshops. His teachers include Juliette Verne, Amy Pow (music video clips for Disco Montego, Tina Arena & dancer for Guy Sebastian 2004 ARIAs) and Kylee Alexandria (recognised dancer/choreographer). Nathan has danced in final workshop productions in lead roles majoring in hip-hop and funk at SDC. He is also a NSW State Gymnast and gold medallist. Nathan specialises in Hip-Hop dance into which he incorporates a broad range of dance styles. He choreographs all NLG dance performances. All NLG performances are original. In 2005, Nathan has participated in many community events He has performed live on Channel 9 Today show with NLG and also at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Channel V Live Youth Event (Parramatta), Celebrating the Arts Festival (Parramatta Riverside Theatres). Other local events include Parramatta’s Australia Day and Senior Citizens Week (for Parramatta Council), Dundas Tsunami Benefit Concert, the Parramatta Community Drug Action Team Information Day, Arthur Phillip Historical Society Presentation and Claymore Dream Park Opening and Family Fun Days. Nathan has been performing in song and dance for almost 10 years and has performed in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, New Zealand, USA and England. He trains over 100 students in dance each week and conducts workshops. Nathan is a real ambassador for young people. He desires to be fully involved in the performing arts, to help young people and to be a part of bridging generation gaps. Also see Nathan's dance tips.
